A postponement of conscription as a mandatory precondition for crossing the border by men during martial law
Since the end of 2023, there have been reported massive refusals for conscripted men to cross the border. The State Border Guard Service associates these refusals with the absence of confirmation of postponement of conscription during mobilization. Previously, the requirement to provide confirmation of the formalized postponement at the border was rare. This article provides a more detailed examination of the new practice of the State Border Guard Service and aims to clarify what constitutes confirmation of the formalized postponement.
