Some practical aspects of the departure of men abroad during martial law
The effect of martial law and general mobilization leads to restrictions on the constitutional right of Ukrainian citizens to freely leave the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, the regulatory legal framework, which actually leads to the restriction of the right of men aged 18 to 60 to cross the state border during martial law, contains inconsistencies and gaps. This article describes practical aspects of men's departure abroad, in particular: for which category of men there is no ban on departure and what documents are required for this; judicial practice in cases of appeals against the refusal of men to cross the state border as well as the issue of departure of reserved employees is considered in more detail.
