Changes in labor legislation: Draft Labor Code (Part 3)
We continue reviewing the key changes highlighted by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine in the Draft Labour Code (Reg. No. 14386).
This time, we focus on the following issues:
- additional leave days,
- regulation of working time and rest periods,
- protection of pregnant employees and employees with children,
- the new risk-based approach to inspections.
The proposed reforms aim to strengthen social guarantees and harmonise labour legislation with European standards. At the same time, some provisions may spark debate among both employees and businesses.
In the article, we take a closer look at these changes and assess how they could reshape labour relations and day-to-day workplace processes.
