Air raid alerts and business operations: Does the new regulation solve the problem?
Constant air raid alerts create a dilemma for businesses: on the one hand, there is the need to ensure employees’ safety, while on the other, there is the need to maintain business continuity.
Only now, nearly five years into the full-scale invasion, has the Government attempted to regulate this issue by adopting Resolution No. 1092 of September 4, 2026, on certain issues of optimizing population protection and responding to air attack threats.
However, the new regulation appears to create more of an impression that the problem has been solved than to provide businesses with a clear and practically applicable mechanism.
For now, the Resolution raises more questions than it provides answers. In this article, we will not delve into a detailed analysis of all the new provisions. Instead, we will focus on the key points that businesses, specifically in their capacity as employers, should pay attention to today.
