Changes in labor legislation: Draft Labor Code (Part 2)
We continue to analyze the key changes highlighted by the Ministry of Economy in the Draft Labor Code (Registry No. 14386).
In this part, we focus on changes related to hiring procedures and termination of employment contracts.
The new rules aim to simplify employees’ hiring procedures, ensure transparency, and protect workers’ rights, while creating a more predictable and controlled legal framework for employers.
The draft sets clear requirements for employment contracts and introduces updated approaches to termination, whether initiated by the employee or the employer.
These changes seek to balance flexibility for businesses with the protection of workers’ rights, and to prevent potential abuses in labor relations.
