The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has updated the list of low-tax jurisdictions
On January 01, 2025, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1505, as of December 27, 2024, officially came into force, bringing significant changes to the list of low-tax jurisdictions under subpara. 39.2.1.2 of Article 39 of the Tax Code.
It is worth reminding that the updated list of low-tax jurisdictions was formed according to the new criteria, which came into force on January 01, 2025.
In the updated list, the number of states (territories) has been reduced from 78 to 46. Notably, jurisdictions popular among Ukrainian businesses – such as Cyprus, Moldova, and the United Arab Emirates – are no longer included.
