From now officially – foreign (EU) QESs are recognized under Ukrainian law, and other changes related to QESs
On December 31, 2022 the Law on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Ensuring the Conclusion of an Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on Mutual Recognition of Qualified Electronic Trust Services and Implementation of European Union Legislation in the Field of Electronic Identification was officially published.
The Law introduces significant changes to numerous laws as regards the qualified electronic signatures, namely the Law of Ukraine “On Electronic Trust Services” and procedural codes of Ukraine.
However, the key point is official recognition in Ukraine of foreign qualified services and qualified electronic signatures.
