Concerning postponement of introduction of liability for breach of personal data protection legislation
We would like to inform you that on February 3, 2012 the President of Ukraine has signed the law that postpones the effective date of liability for breach of personal data protection legislation from January 1, 2012 to July 1, 2012. This law comes into force from the date of its official publication which is expected in the nearest time.
We would also like to remind that the issue of aforementioned liability was covered in our previous Legal Alert as of June 29, 2011, which we send in the attachment to this document.
