We bring to your attention the Judgment of the European Court of Human Rights regarding violation of the ne bis in idem principle. In this Judgment the Court declared violation of this principle due to the fact that tax surcharge proceedings against physical person was of a criminal nature and was not discontinued after the final decision was taken in the criminal proceedings.
